Bull Creek is a non-incorporated rural community located in Osceola County, Florida, United States. It lies about 7 miles (11 km) east of Holopaw and 30 miles (48 km) west of Melbourne. Bull Creek is a part of Metropolitan Statistical Area Orlando – Kissimmee.

The name of the community derives from Bull Creek and the neighboring Bull Creek Wildlife Management Area. It is in the time zone of Eastern Norm. The elevation is 20 m (65 ft). Bull Creek Latitude is 28.093N and the longitude is true -80.976W.

In 1902, George W. Hopkins purchased 104,000 acres (420 km2 ) of land in eastern central Florida, including what would become Bull Creek. Hopkins established a tiny railroad to transport timber, mainly Cypress to his Melbourne sawmill, the area was heavily logged from 1912 to 1928. Cypress is still harvested from the surrounding area of Bull Creek but the trees are smaller and mostly used for mulching. In 1967, the state purchased 23,350 acres for flood control, the Bull Creek area fed the Saint Johns River, and a large levee was built to control the water discharged into the river. In 1970, the state-owned property was leased for use as a Wildlife Management Area (WMA) to the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. The Bull Creek WMA has changed its name to Hershey A, former Chairman of the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. “Herky” Huffman (1937-2011), a Floridian native, outdoor enthusiast,w and a staunch environmentalist. In the 1960s, corrupt state lawmakers permitted remote wetlands bordered on two sides by the WMA to be pre-platted into a paper subdivision (namely subdivision only); it was then mass-marketed nationally as an investment to unsuspecting buyers. Many of the remaining lots are too small, quite wet, and too far from being built on the only maintained road; it is unlikely that this community will grow any further.

Bull Creek’s population is made up of fewer than 100 families predominantly working-class, who prefer a rural lifestyle. Agricultural zoning is permitted with no more than one single-family home per 5 acres (20,000 m2), agricultural land may be used for conservation, cattle, timber, and other agricultural uses.
